1.- ALEXANDRA ROSE (R.Bejarano)
2.- GOOD MOOD (M.Baze)
3.- AUDACIOUS CHLOE (G.Gomez)

South African-bred Alexandra Rose later gained her first victory in two years when rallying strongly to win the $110,400 Monrovia Handicap by three-quarters of a length over defending champion Society Hostess while covering 6 ? furlongs on turf in 1:12.86. Society Hostess, however, would be disqualified and placed fifth for interference in the stretch of the event for fillies and mares.

Alexandra Rose, who gave West Coast newcomer Rafael Bejarano the meet?s riding lead with seven victories, had raced only four times during the past two years, but clearly was primed for her Santa Anita debut as the 6-1 fourth choice in a field of 10.
