2.- SPIRIT ONE (C.Soumillon)
3.- BORIS DE DEAUVILLE (T.Thulliez)

Loup Breton (Anabaa - Louve, by Irish River) beat recent Prix Exbury winner Spirit One to win the Group Two Prix d'Harcourt over 2000m at Longchamp on Sunday.

The Elie Lellouche-trained four-year-old raced nicely on the rail some way off the stern pace set by Spirit One. Woken up by Christophe Lemaire in the straight, the colt lengthened well passing his rivals to grab the lead late on, getting up to win by half a length.

Christophe Lemaire said after the race: "He has beautiful acceleration, we had a perfect race. Spirit One led us most of the way, and it came down to picking him up in the final 20m. He came to himself and quickened when I asked. He has grown physically and should have a good year."

Loup Breton was very consistent at three, winning the Group Three Prix Daphnis before being placed in three consecutive Group twos. His best effort was when second to Musical Way in the Prix Dollar on arc day.
